Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern the cleaning services provided by LongLife Cleaning Services (“LongLife”, “we”, “us” or “our”) and your use of our website and booking tools. By placing a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not book.
1. Services
We provide residential, short-term rental (including Airbnb turnover) and commercial cleaning services as described when you book. The scope of each visit is limited to the service type and add-ons selected in your booking. Additional work may require a separate booking or an updated quote.
2. Booking and acceptance of these Terms
When you place a booking — online, by phone, or through any of our channels — you agree to these Terms, you authorize us to perform the selected services, and you authorize the associated charges. All bookings are subject to availability and to our confirmation. We may decline or cancel a booking where we are unable to safely or reasonably perform the service.
3. Access and your responsibilities
You agree to:
- provide safe and timely access to the property at the scheduled time;
- provide a safe working environment, including securing pets and disclosing any known hazards;
- secure cash, jewellery, valuables and fragile or irreplaceable items before the visit; and
- give accurate information about the property when booking.
If we cannot access the property, or the environment is unsafe or materially different from what was booked, the visit may be treated as a late cancellation (see section 7).
4. Pricing, taxes and estimates
Prices shown at booking are estimates based on the information you provide. The final price may change where the actual size, condition, or scope of the work differs materially from what was booked. Applicable taxes are added to all charges.
5. Payment for services rendered
Payment is due upon completion of the services. You agree to pay, in full, for all services rendered. For bookings made on a “pay after cleaning” basis, an invoice is issued when the clean is completed and is payable immediately. Completing a booking creates a binding obligation to pay for the services performed.
6. Overdue accounts, interest and collection
If any amount remains unpaid more than seven (7) days after completion of the services, interest will accrue on the outstanding balance at a rate of 2% per month (26.82% per year), beginning on the eighth (8th) day after completion and continuing until the balance is paid in full.
Where an account remains overdue, we may suspend or decline further service and refer the account to a third-party collections agency and/or pursue any legal remedies available to us to recover the amounts owing. You agree to pay all reasonable costs of collection, including collection-agency fees, court costs, and legal fees and disbursements.
7. Cancellations and rescheduling
Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a booking. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, lockouts, or an inability to access the property may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the booking total, payable on the same terms as services rendered.
8. Photos and records
As part of our photo-verified service, our cleaners take before-and-after photographs of the areas cleaned for quality assurance and as a record of the work performed. These photos are stored with your booking and are not published or used for marketing without your consent.
9. Satisfaction and re-clean
If you are not satisfied with the service, please notify us within 24 hours of completion and we will return to re-clean the affected areas at no additional charge. A re-clean is your exclusive remedy; any refund is at our discretion.
10. Insurance and limitation of liability
LongLife is fully insured and bonded. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to any booking is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage or wear, or for loss of or damage to items that were not secured or disclosed as required by section 3. Please report any suspected damage within 24 hours of completion.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. You submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Ontario for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time you place a booking applies to that booking. Placing a new booking after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
